Legacy Week is our annual fundraising street appeal where Legatees and volunteers across Australia sell bears, badges and other merchandise to support Legacy families in their communities.

The tradition started in the 1940s when Widows Clubs would sell buttons on the street for Legacy. Button Day transformed into Badge Day and today, is held annually on the first Friday of September.

 

Your donation to Legacy could be used in a variety of ways—including providing child care assistance to a widow so she can continue to go to work, help with school fees or social activities like gymnastics classes.

You can make a reoccurring or one-off donation online or purchase Legacy merchandise like a Badge, Bear, wristband, keychain and more.
