Legacy’s Remembrance Walk is a time to reflect, to learn and an opportunity to raise much needed funds for Legacy, one of Australia’s oldest and most respected charities. Legacy’s Remembrance Walk is designed to help the community understand what Legacy does, who Legacy helps, and to remember the sacrifices of our Australian Defence Force and their families.

Friday 8th November take an hour from your morning to be a part of this unique Remembrance Walk. Starting at the Torrens Parade Ground, meet at 7:20 for a 7:30am start with a minute’s silence, then follow our amazing Australian Light Horse Brigade mounted troops for a walk of 1.5kms up King William Street, around Government House, to the War Memorial and along the ANZAC Centenary Memorial Walk, to finish with a light Legacy BBQ breakfast and an opportunity to view our exhibition of history... featuring our Legacy Families at the Parade Grounds.

We have options (details have been posted to all schools) for School Communities to take part in Legacy's Remembrance Walk within their own grounds. We encourage local, country and rural schools to take part and help us make a difference.
