Legacy’s Remembrance Walk is a time to reflect, to learn and an opportunity to raise much needed funds for Legacy, one of Australia’s oldest and most respected charities. Legacy’s Remembrance Walk helps the community understand what Legacy does, who Legacy helps, and to remember the sacrifices of our Australian Defence Force and their families.

Friday 6th November take an hour from your morning to be a part of this unique Remembrance Walk. Starting at the Torrens Parade Ground, meet at 7:00 for a 7:30 am start with a minute’s silence, then follow our amazing Australian Light Horse Brigade mounted troops for a walk of 1.5 km's up King William Street, around Government House, to the War Memorial and along the ANZAC Centenary Memorial Walk, to finish with a light Legacy BBQ breakfast and an opportunity to view our exhibition of history... featuring our Legacy Families at the Parade Grounds.

School Communities are welcome to join us at the Torrens Parade Ground or the other option is to hold a Remembrance Walk on your school grounds or local area. We encourage schools, local, country and rural, to get behind Legacy in making Remembrance Day a part of the curriculum, to engage students to remember our Defence servicemen and women and their families. s to take part and help us make a difference.
