Join us at the Torrens Parade Ground on Friday 6 November for a 1.5km walk, following the Australian Light Horse Brigade along the path of the Anzac Memorial Walk stopping at the Dardenelles Memorial to lay a wreath for our fallen OR Sign up for our Virtual to walk any time in November. Walk in your local park, beach or favourite trail. Do it alone, with your family, friends or workplace. Take the challenge walk 11kms by the 11th of the 11th! Torrens Parade Ground Virtual Walk Schools 2019 Impact Why Support Legacy Fundraising Tips Partnerships Register/Login Sponsor a Walker Virtual Walk throughout November On Remembrance Day, the 11th day of the 11th month we are asking you to walk/run 11kms to remember our fallen or injured heroes and ensure Legacy Families in South Australia and Broken Hill left behind do not suffer after the loss of a loved one who served our country. Set a goal, which you could achieve in many ways, as a team you can split the mileage between you or you can walk 1.5kms starting on Friday 6.11.2020, when the physical event is on and then each day until 11.11.2020. You can walk anywhere, anytime, whether in Broken Hill or Ceduna or any of our other regional areas, join us through social pages and/or strava to get your walk/run counted. We encourage you to walk in a team, encourage your family, friends, school buddies, or work colleagues to join you, or take the opportunity to walk alone in remembrance of those who made the ultimate sacrifice for our freedom. With the year that it has been, first with the Bushfires and now with COVID, our Legacy Families need our help now more than ever.
